Deceitful Words

-Jean Caryl Barquilla-

Words though spoken, its meaning won’t be the same after tomorrow,

Words can bring you happiness for now, same words could also bring you sorrow,

Words coming from a pair of sincere eyes that for once made you smile,

It can become painful lies, while the smile only lasts for awhile.

For nothing is made so fix in this real world, aside from change alone,

And words are nothing  but words, empty without actions, soon swept, soon blown,

Easily said, easily broke, after spoken pop as memory,

In future, seldom bound to cause us misery.
