Time’s Up

Moved on. Accept that he will never return. Be prepared that one day you would probably meet him in town smiling along with his new girl. Realize that he is moving on with his life, and you should too. Your hands will never be the same hands he used to hold, your hair will never be the same hair he used to mess, your face will never be the same face he used to stare, and your presence will never be the same presence he used to miss. It hurts but it’s the truth. No more late night phone calls, no more surprises, no more text messages from him, or perhaps there are…but not for you anymore.

One day you will just notice it.

Don’t expect for him, don’t wait. It will take time and it will hurt a lot, but you need to accept it. Accept that he is doing the same things you both used to do together but now with another girl.  Just like how you taught him how to play piano, and now he’s playing it for another girl. Just like how you taught him how to play battle tetris on facebook and now he’s playing it with another girl. The place you used to travel, his home, his favourite place, and his everything, he’s enjoying it with his new girl.

Life sucks, but don’t let it get into you. It’s tormenting, it’s sad, it’s sorrowful, but life goes on.

Head high, chin up, and show the world you are better off since he left you. You deserve someone better, someone who will never give up on you. One day you will find him.

Have patience. Have faith.

Love,

Myself
